Dangote Petroleum Refinery recorded a total petrol output of 976 million litres between November 1 and 29, 2025, hitting a record single-day production of 52 million litres on November 22, marking its highest output since starting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) production in September 2024.

Exclusive data obtained by Advisors Reports from a credible internal source at Dangote Petroleum Refinery has revealed key insights into the refinery’s production performance.

Following an earlier report covering November 1–15, 2025 (Advisors Reports), Advisors Reports secured additional data directly from the refinery, providing a comprehensive view of petrol output and distribution for the period under review.

Despite earlier attempts by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer at Dangote Group, to dispute previous figures as “false and misleading,” the refinery’s internal data exclusively obtained by Advisors Reports at the weekend, reveals that between November 16 and 29, 2025, petrol output steadily improved.

The refinery’s petrol production hits 32 million litres on November 16, 22 million on the 17th, 33 million on the 18th, 40 million on the 19th, 45 million on the 20th, and 39 million on the 21st.

The refinery then achieved an all-time high of 52 million litres on November 22.

Production dipped slightly thereafter, recording 43 million litres on the 23rd, 40 million on the 24th, rebounding to 42 million on the 25th, then 40 million on the 26th, 38 million on the 27th, 37 million on the 28th.

It closed the 14-day production period with 40 million litres on November 29, 2025.

Advisors Reports confirmed that the refinery’s recent production surge aligns with the disclosure by Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery will supply 50 million litres of petrol daily starting December 1.

Dangote made the announcement while addressing Usoro Offiong Akpabio, Managing Director of the South-South Development Commission (SSDC), during the Commission’s visit to the refinery and Dangote Fertiliser Complex.

“In line with our commitment to national wellbeing and ensuring a holiday season free of fuel scarcity, the refinery will deliver 1.5 billion litres of PMS to the Nigerian market in December, representing 50 million litres per day.

We have formally notified the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) of this commitment,” Dangote said.

He added that supply will continue at 1.5 billion litres in January and rise to 1.7 billion litres in February, equating to about 60 million litres daily.

Dangote further noted that the facility currently maintains sufficient stock and produces between 40 and 45 million litres per day, emphasizing that the planned daily supply of 50 million litres underscores the capacity of domestic refineries to meet national demand.

The exclusive data obtained by Advisors Reports indicates that between November 1 and 29, 2025, Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s petrol deliveries via the coastal route averaged 13,137,951 litres per day, amounting to a total of 381,000,579 litres over the 29-day period.

During the same period, road truck distribution averaged 9,793,103 litres per day, cumulatively reaching 283,999,987 litres.

In total, the refinery released 665,000,566 litres of petrol into the Nigerian market between November 1 and 29, 2025.
