Dr. Layi Fatona, Chairman of Renaissance Africa Energy Company, and Adegite Falade, MD/CEO of Aradel Holdings Plc, will join other high-profile industry leaders from energy, academia, government, and technology at the 17th edition of the PSRG-Richardson Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Forum in Lagos.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, 16th to Wednesday, 17th September 2025, will focus on charting solutions for safety, sustainability, and energy development both regionally and globally.

Akin Osuntoki, MD/CEO of Richardson Oil and Gas Ltd., confirmed this in a statement obtained by Advisors Reports.

According to him, the event, themed “Nigeria: The Gulf of Guinea’s Energy Hub – Mapping the Pathway,” will be held at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island.

He noted that the annual forum, jointly hosted by Richardson Oil and Gas Ltd. and Process Safety & Reliability Group (PSRG), has become Nigeria’s foremost platform for advancing HSSE practices and fostering collaboration between industries and communities.

He said, “The two-day event promises a robust program featuring a PSRG-RICHARDSON Job Fair to connect graduates and young professionals with top employers in the HSSE and energy sectors.”

The forum will also feature the Bode Osunkoya Prize, a prestigious award for final-year undergraduates of the University of Lagos, which celebrates excellence and innovation.

In addition, a wide-ranging industry exhibition will showcase the latest safety equipment, environmental technologies, and innovative HSSE solutions from leading companies and solution providers.

Osuntoki further emphasized that the Forum is more than a gathering, adding that it is a movement to drive excellence in HSSE practices, promote knowledge transfer, and empower the next generation.

He said, “It has grown into a melting pot of brilliant ideas and practical collaborations. We are excited to convene again with even more strategic focus and engagement.”

The MD/CEO of Richardson Oil and Gas Ltd. further explained that with participants expected from across key sectors of the economy, the forum reaffirms its position as the region’s leading HSSE gathering.
