NSIPA trains selected staff on EDMS adoption to enhance efficiency, productivity

The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) has conducted a training session for selected staff members on adopting the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to enhance efficiency, streamline paperwork, and improve overall productivity.

Attari Hope, Head of Communication and Public Relations, made this known in a statement on Thursday following a one-day sensitization training session on the pilot implementation of the system.

The training, attended by selected staff members, marks the first phase of a broader initiative to extend EDMS adoption across all agency personnel.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Binta Musa Ibrahim, Head of Planning, Research, and Statistics (PRS), described the training as a significant step in NSIPA’s commitment to operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

“As we continue striving for excellence in service delivery, we must harness the power of technology to streamline our documentation processes,” she stated.

Dr. Binta highlighted the importance of the EDMS as a secure, centralized, and user-friendly platform for document management. She encouraged participants to engage actively with facilitators, noting that their mastery of the system is crucial for its successful implementation and sustainability.

She also expressed appreciation to the National Coordinator and CEO of NSIPA, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal, PhD, for his approval and support of the initiative, recognizing its vital role in improving service delivery.
