President Tinubu approves N10bn for CNG buses, N50,000 monthly for 100,000 families in each state

President Bola Tinubu has approved economic relief measures for Nigerians, including a N10 billion allocation for bus procurement and the CNG uplift programme in the Federal Capital Territory, along with a N50,000 uplift grant per month for three months for 100,000 families in each state, covering all geopolitical zones in the country.
The President made this known while unveiling the National Construction and Household Support Programme, during the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting on Thursday in Abuja on Thursday at the State House, Abuja.
Tinubu also ordered the deployment of N155 billion for the purchase and sale of assorted foodstuffs to be distributed across the nation.
Advisors Reports gathered that other items under the National Construction and Household Support Programme include One-off allocation to states and the Federal Capital Territory of N10 billion for the procurement of buses and CNG uplift programme and the Provision for labour unions and civil society organizations.
