Eboumbou emphasized that this off-grid power solution reflects All On and Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN)’s unwavering commitment to fostering a brighter future for the Niger Delta.

She stated that the grant offered to Ceesolar Energy for the off-grid power project underscores Bayelsa’s critical importance to All On, which is determined to address the significant lack of access to commercial electrification that the communities have endured.

Okunbor in his remarks, highlighted that the signing ceremony underscored the program’s significance and Shell’s commitment to driving positive change across the Niger Delta.

He said, “The Niger Delta holds immense potential. By providing grants, we can empower developers and contribute to closing the energy gap, one community at a time.

“Our aim is to ensure that the project is sustainable; this is why we went through a rigorous selection process.

“Protecting the mini-grid is crucial; we seek the cooperation of community leaders and residents to prevent vandalism, as the success of this project will pave the way for more initiatives, not just from All On but from other organizations,” he stated.

The Country Chair of the Sustainable Energy for Change Initiative (SCiN) further emphasized that Ceesolar Energy emerged from a shortlist of 15 developers after a rigorous selection process conducted by All On and the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN).

He noted that the company’s proven track record in the Niger Delta and their existing project pipeline within Bayelsa State made them a compelling choice.

Chibueze Ekeh, Chief Executive Officer of Ceesolar Energy Limited, expressed excitement about being awarded the grant, adding that, “Ceesolar Energy, we are passionate about reducing carbon footprints through sustainable energy impacts.”
