Tantita arrests MT Harbour Spirit for crude oil theft in Delta State

The Tantita Security Services Limited, in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy other security operatives have arrested another vessel Motor Tanker (MT) Harbour Spirit, with IMO No. 8226272, for crude oil theft in Delta State.

 

Advisors Reports’ investigations showed that MT Harbour Spirit, identified by IMO No. 8226272, arrived at Port Harcourt Anchor on January 6th and departed on January 29th with an unknown destination and cargo.

The vessel was spotted at Escravos River anchorage on Monday, February 5, before being apprehended by the security operatives.

 

According to Vesselfinder.com, the vessel MT Harbor Spirit is a tanker ship flying the Moldova flag, with an IMO number of 8226272 and MMSI number 214182712.

 

The 41-year-old vessel has a length overall (LOA) of 77 meters, a maximum width (beam) of 14 meters, and a gross tonnage of 1903.

 

It is currently owned by Spiranti Tdg Ltd.

 

According to a statement from Tantita, the vessel currently anchored at its facility in Oporoza.
